Meet The Team:

Emma Jackson, Founder:
Emma has lived with mental health problems for most of her life.  During a particularly difficult time in her life Emma relied on meeting friends for coffee once a week. Realising that some people did not have this type of network and unable to find any peer support where she lived Emma decided to set up her own group.

Our voluntary Board of Trustees are as follows;

  • Iain Gray, Chair, retired MSP for East Lothian.

  • Alex Bewick, Treasurer

  • Miriam Harte, accountant and experienced Executive and Non-Executive Chair for the Health, Housing and Heritage Sector.

  • Christopher Read, Secretary has over fifteen years' experience as a fundraiser in housing, disability rights, welfare and youthwork.

  • Loreen Pardoe, co-Lead of East Lothian’s early years and family network, Support from the Start and co-founder of East Lothian Intergenerational Network.

  • Emma Mortimore, former Keep The Heid volunteer and Chief Executive of Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh.
