Keep The Heid started running sessions in Haddington in November 2021, our Tranent session started in January 2023 and North Berwick in April 2023.

Meet The Team:
Emma Jackson, Founder:
Emma has lived with mental health problems for most of her life. During a particularly difficult time in her life Emma relied on meeting friends for coffee once a week. Realising that some people did not have this type of network and unable to find any peer support where she lived Emma decided to set up her own group.

Miriam Harte, accountant and experienced Executive and Non-Executive Chair for the Health, Housing and Heritage Sector.
Christopher Read, Secretary has over fifteen years' experience as a fundraiser in housing, disability rights, welfare and youthwork.
Loreen Pardoe, co-Lead of East Lothian’s early years and family network, Support from the Start and co-founder of East Lothian Intergenerational Network.
Emma Mortimore, former Keep The Heid volunteer and Chief Executive of Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh.

Facilitators
Rosalie Monod de Froideville
Rosalie has over 12 years' experience facilitating groups of adults and children as a mental health group facilitator, community artist, yoga and meditation teacher, and learning disabilities workshop leader.
Leo McCann
Leo has over 20 years social work experience including over 10 in the mental health sector as a mental health officer.
Karen Reid
Karen has 8 years of experience working with adults with mental health as a Senior Support Worker and Lead Practitioner.
Rob Cruickshanks
After 20 years in the building industry facilitating meetings between clients and contractors and struggling with his own mental health Rob has now made the journey from a Keep The Heid user, to volunteer and now facilitator.
